Case Studies from the Consumer Products Domain

Among our more interesting projects, we had the privilege to collaborate with two amazing companies, making a paramount breakthrough in the Consumer Products world. The first company is UTC, an incredibly innovative company that developed and produced UDI™, the world’s first diving computer that allows underwater communication between groups of divers. The UDI system incorporates digital acoustic messaging technology with SOS and homing capabilities and a 3D compass. The UDI acoustic network architecture is the most innovative architecture for underwater communication.

Laser Modeling Israel collaborated with UTC to create the UDI wrist diving computer unit. This wrist unit connects the diver with the surface vessel upon which the boat unit is located, as well as with fellow divers. The advanced UDI platform was released in 2013. Since then, most of the western special forces, rescue teams, and numerous police units have been using the system on a daily basis.

The second company is SodaStream. SodaStream sparkling water makers enable consumers to transform ordinary tap water into sparkling water and flavored sparkling water at the touch of a button. The company’s products are available at more than 80,000 retail stores across 45 countries. SodaStream products are environmentally friendly one SodaStream reusable bottle relives the world of up to 3 000 single-use plastic bottles. The Company’s products promote health and wellness by making ordinary water fun and exciting to drink which has been proven to lead consumers to drink more water.

Laser Modeling Israel collaborated with SodaStream to create one of its newest designs that is about to be released in 2023.The new design turns plain water into fresh sparkling water in seconds. Using our in-house 3D printing technology, SodaStream was able to create a design for the modern kitchen, while featuring the new Quick Connect technology for fast and easy CO2 cylinder insertion.
